Installed my turbotech boost controller yesterday and feels alot better. Have it set at about 9psi.

IDEA :

My question is, if i simply get a longer length of hose for the wastegate actuator and the intake hose, could i run this hose thru the firewall and have my boost controller inside the car making ajustment very easy?

Would this cause lag due to the extra length of hose?

Thoughts on this guys

Are you ever going to need to make regular adjustments

I wouldnt see the point. Like what was said to me when i was going to spend big $$ i didnt have on an ebc.

"If you dont want to run boost so high, just dont put ur foot to the floor :D "

I suspect all the additional hose might cause boost spikes, not sure though.

I have a Hybrid 2 stage as well. Being an EBC they use a solenoid, so totally different setup from a bleed vavle.

Not lag, spikes, in simple terms the hose is longer so the wastegate won't react as quickly.

Save for an EBC, the Jaycar IEBC (massive thread over in Stagea land) is very affordable if you're handy with a soldering iron, or there's the dual bleed types with a switching solenoid (i.e. Turbosmart) but i dn't think they represent good value.

Yup, One of my first mods was to buy a Hybrid EBC (cheap-arse, it aint expensive) and install it in lieu of the engine mounted turbosmart bleed valve. I figure the solenoid type is more accurate than a manual unit. No spikes, just good steady progressive boost.
