Absolutely NOT American plates, these are ugly very short squashy widths.

The plate is 'Euro', which in turn is ISO also used optionally by NSW, QLD, VIC and WA now.

The plate as shown is not one of the AUS units and in anycase the vehicles are left hand drive.
