just a quick question, i own an '89 R32 Gts-t Type M and i was wondering what kind of diff i have, either viscous or mechanical. if it was available with both kinds of diff how would i tell which one i had.

the reason for my question is i may need to replace my current diff as its sounding pretty worn and the wrecker needs to know which kind of diff im after b4 just selling me another diff. as far as i know the current diff is an LSD

any input is greatly appreciated! (even if its just telling me the difference between viscous and mechanical diffs :D)
