Am going through the process of getting my iPod repaired at the moment and with them, there is a no. which directs you to their website. From their you can type in your postcode for your nearest repairer. e.g apple.com.au/ipod/support

Have you tried anything like that for your phone manufactuer/provider? Also I assume it isnt insured or covered by your provider?

Telstra Shop at Knox City fixed my mobile and I was with Optus - not sure if that helps

There is a guy on Chandler road Just over Heatherton Road in Noble Park i would imagine go past it on the way to work... My nan got her mobile fixed by him one seems fairly reasonable...

Worth a look if you are driving past..
