Price is $425AUD, delivered. I think it's pretty damn good.

UPDATE (25-10-05) -

I want everyone on this list to PM me with Names, addresses, and phone numbers, and email address (so I don't have to spend too much $$'s making calls lol). I will confirm I have full contact with everyone and then start talking to the supplier, and see how we are going to make the payment.

I will probably just take all payments, and then contact the supplier with a large lump sum, and the number of orders, and a list of addresses, and the what goes where etc.

If anybody has a problem with this, please let me know.

In my reply PM, I will supply my phone numbers, email address, msn address (I'm always on there) etc etc so that you know that you have full contact with me and know that I am a trust worthy source.

I will put it straight forward, I am NOT a shonky dealer \ person.

anyway, START SENDING ME PM's PLEASE. THE SOONER THE BETTER.

If anyone else is interested, you have very little time left to do it.

I would like to close this group buy at the end of the week (29th October 2005) so get cracking.

If anyone else wants one, there is little time to register your interest!!!!

Hi Jonathan

Thank you for your email regarding FC Datalogit.

BMS can offer FC Datalogit for the discounted price of $450 including serial cable connect for up to 10 units, or $425 for between 11-15 units.

For these units, BMS will ship to you free of charge.

FC Datalogit is currently out of stock, we will be restocked within three weeks.

Kind regards

For those that want a look at the software, click this link, and you can actually click on the tabs etc to bring up that page of settings. Some very interesting setting in there.

If I was gonig to spend an excessive amount, I was gonig to get rid of the powerfc and get a link..

firstly dont get a link, stick with the powerfc, fctune will be cheaper, well actually fctune is free, the cable / dongle box is i think $200 us, still not released at this stage however. fctune (the software) will work with the datalogit cable/dongle box so thats a nice bonus. have u seen fctune?

I emailed the Australian distributer for the Datalogit about 2 weeks ago and got no response either. It says on the company site for the Datalogit that they aren't processing anymore orders as they are making some new changes to the unit but this was between Aug 10 - Sep 10th wasn't it? Maybe they still aren't ready, or have such a huge demand that they are trying to sort everyone else out first?

yeah I know the fctune software will work... but the whole point, I can't get the datalogit cable or whatever from these guys. They don't respond.

Poor service if you ask me.

yeah well it sucks you cant buy one, best bet would be 2nd hand. you could also if you are desperate look at the apexi fc pro package for $500 au its in japanese and comes with softrware and cable. fctune will work with that. the software is very basic though, no where near as good as fctune or datalogit, so perhaps hold out for datalogit

Hey Guys,

I bought FC-Datalogit recently and got great help / response from the Aus distributer. His name and email address are:

michael purtell [[email protected]]

Although he has had problems with his email in the past. I found a phone call fixed up all my problems.

Paul

I got a hold of him, and he said that it's $499 + $30 ph. I'd organise a group buy if you guys wanted.

if you are keen, let me know, in this thread.

Of course I'd be asking for the money up front so I don't get stooged lol

    • Hey guys, Just thought it might be of interest to owners of the RB25 det NEO motor, that awesomeness Nitto are in the late process to produce an engine gasket kit by end of Jan 25.  I think obviously there will be an 25det kit too. cheers, Ian

    • Bumping this thread yet again, has anyone ever tried putting yet another vacuum regulating valve on the hose that goes between the turbo inlet? Something local owners have mentioned is the Radium breather pipes de-restrict the valve cover but it actually produces an undesirable outcome in practice, way too much air is sucked out of the crankcase and a ton of oil comes with it as well. As far as I can tell the PCV diaphragm in these modern euro wet sump performance engines is active during boost as well, there's just a check valve to block boost from entering the valve cover and crankcase as there's no inherent check valve function in these diaphragm-type valves. Hopefully I'll be able to try some of this out soon. The Volvo XC90 4.4 V8 has a nice external version of these things.
