justin911
besides letting you graph the knock levels, and being able to save your config, is there anything else the datalogit lets you do that is useful ? Bl4cK32
besides letting you graph the knock levels, and being able to save your config, is there anything else the datalogit lets you do that is useful ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Page 2 of this thread i wrote: Ok, for tuning purposes the hand controller does basically the same as the datalogit. BUT there are a hell of a lot more fetures which imho make it worth the little extra...do a search and you may be suprised what you can do with it from SK: OK, but only the ones that you can't access via the Commander Inlet air temp fuel map Water temp fuel map RPM acceleration fuel map Cranking Injector dwell map Water temp versus boost fuel correction Inlet air temp versus boost fuel correction RPM Load Point table AFM load point table AFM voltage table Ignition versus water temp correction Ignition versus inlet air temp correction Ignition dwell versus RPM correction Ignition versus battery voltage correction Ignition versus boost correction Individual injector trim Injector lag versus battery voltage correction Via the Datalogit there is also; Antilag via injection Antilag via ignition Intercooler spray Basically anything that you want to turn on or off Then there is the logging Every standard sensor is logged Plus 4 others (eg; lambda, brake temperature, suspension travel etc etc) as well as : All of which are important once you reach the limitations of the stock afm/load point base map setup. Swapping to a Z32 or VH41/Q45 AFM does zilch in its own. Software is required. There's also the A/C and non a/c overheat fan temp switch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90047-fc-datalogit/page/12/#findComment-1909463 Share on other sites

Bl4cK32
heaps. As well as for datalogging, i can hook up an afr meter and do logging on the street with AFR values, so i can do my own light throttle tuning to get better fuel economy. I only have to pay $100 for a WOT tune, then take it home and fine tune myself (which is about another $200 on the dyno) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90047-fc-datalogit/page/12/#findComment-1909802 Share on other sites
justin911
ya but afr meter is like $500 anyways thanks for the info Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90047-fc-datalogit/page/12/#findComment-1909863 Share on other sites
Bl4cK32
afr is one example that can be bought and added as an extra. Add the cost of a full dyno tune up vs. the 1 off cost of a cable and afr meter to tune your car by yourself (and just dyno time if needed) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90047-fc-datalogit/page/12/#findComment-1910096 Share on other sites
justin911
ya thats true, but thats got nothing to do with the datalogit then im not saying its bad or anything.. i was just curious what u guys r doing with em Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90047-fc-datalogit/page/12/#findComment-1910099 Share on other sites
paulr33
my contact reports that the latest version is 1.120 for RB25 which I now have (pm me if you want it) and unfortunately the latest version of the manual (if any) are not in the user groups so we can't get access to the latest manual. Also to note there are lots of posts about anitlag not working for lots of people and little to no help or comments from the datalogit team on how to make it work either Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90047-fc-datalogit/page/12/#findComment-1910233 Share on other sites
