Does anyone know where the ambient temp sensor is located on an R32 GTR?

If I drive around for a while then leave the car parked the ambient temp creeps up to around 40 degrees! - or so it says, then after 5 mins with the car moving again it goes back to a more realistic number

Has anyone located the sensor - or has anyone moved it?

They are generally located some where in the front bumper.

Mine does the same as yours, in peak hour traffic on a 40degree day I've seen temps as high as 65degree's. :P

My amb temp sensor is fairly spot on within .5-1degree, according to those digital time and temp readout things located around Adelaide.

Thanks - i will probably end up moving it to a more reliable location, i have a Holden Berlina aswel as the GTR and it (eventhough a much lesser car) can get the temp right all the time, ill try to find the Holden one and move the GTR one to the same area its front bar
