thry letting the car idle, unscrew the idle adjuster on the manifold, and spray alittle bit of carby cleaner in it.might help.

Idle Adjuster? As in the screw near the back (firewall) side of the manifold?

I believe but I could be wrong but with the RB motor the Idle Varies when there is a leak in the inlet somewhere whether from a hose clamp or somehting. check all hoses and clamps and so forth and it should fix the problem.

But having said that I could be SOOO wrong it is not funny.

i dont think it could be an air leak in the inlet, as i have this problem also, however i have changed all plugs/clumps and seals in the inlet side when i was changing the injectors.... i was thinking this is related to the AAC valve somehow, as most people having this prob have eliminated the possiblility of it being caused by the BOV etc..
