The kit comes with the boost control solenoid and a boost pressure sensor. It comes with 2 cords - 1 from the power fc to the pressure sensor and one from the solenoid to ???? Where does the plug on this go to or do your have to wire it in somewhere??

This is on an R33 gtst.

Cheers

Ive never seen these units and have allways assumed that you can buy the boost kit with the pfc and it can be controlled by the hand controller.

On the other hand if i am wrong and you do have a separate heads up display/boost controlling unit, just like when you buy the boost controller on it's own, allong with the pfc then the in cabin display unit could be what the cable is for.

How long is it?

Try it out and see if the car will controll the boost.Start with it off, test it.Then have a go with it on but with everything on zero, test it then if all's well on in go in small increments ra!ra!ra!.

On the other hand disregard what i have said.:P

Craved - No, the plug does not plug straight in, tried that first - but thanks anyway.

Trust33 - I have brought the proper kit for that model power fc and yes boost is controlled by the handcontroller, but it is the wire from the solenoid that I am trying to work out. The cable is about 100cm, not long enough to go through the firewall unlike the MAP snesor cable whcih plugs into the power fc unit itself.

I am thinking that maybe it is supposed to be rewired and hooked up to the factory solenoid plug....
