Stolen: Sound Stream Gear

Recommended Posts

Guest 180Chick

Hi guys

I had some Sound Steam gear stolen from me in Palmerston.

A witness said (at the time he was not aware of my stuff being stolen) he was approached by two young guys on General Holmes Drive in Sydney. I am pretty sure this happened on the long weekend (1 to 3 October) as the suspects went to Sydney that weekend (according to the cops who had no reasonable cause to hold them).

The 'two young guys' were in a white van. He was waved at to slow down and wind his window down. They offered him sound stream car stereo gear and said it was new stuff that they just imported. They asked him to offer them something (money) for the gear. Thinking the deal was dodge, he said 'no' straight away and off he went.

Odds are they would have got rid of it (sold it) in Sydney on the long weekend.

What was stolen was the tarantula range with the dark purple spider. This gear is yet to be brought into Australia. It was purchased overseas and brought back with a person.

Stolen were:

1 x 12" sub

2 pairs 6"x9" speakers

1 pair 4" speakers

2 pairs 1" tweeters

With this there was top of the range cable wires for the installation.

If ANYONE has ANY information... they might have heard or seen something... PLEASE let me know. The best way to get hold of me is via email: [email protected] or through a PM on here.

If you can please alert anyone you know in Sydney and keep your eyes and ears out if you go to Sydney, that would be great! I have heaps of people in Sydney looking around and the cops are looking around.

As this system is very rare and the only one like it in Australia, if someone is caught with it, they will be in a strife for accepting stolen goods and lose A LOT of money cause they would have paid heaps for it.

Like I said ANYTHING you guys can do to help would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Jo

Ok....

At the time I knew this was very dodgy so i tried my best to remember everything I could about t:

I was at the Gunghalin Market place on tuesday at 1:30pm. I had only just pulled up in a spot and a white van pulled up next to me. I had my window down and the guy in the passenger seat said to me "Hey, you wanna buy some stereo gear?" I was like :P "what?" He said something about home and car stereo gear brand new, good price... I just said no thanks and they took off!

I got a good look at the van and the passenger. Tried to grab the plates but wasnt very succesfull...

Important to note: this was after the long weekend.

If I can be of any help just let me know.

Also, a Sony headunit was stolen. This was in my car before I put my MP3 player in which was to hook up to the Soundstream gear. I am not sure what the Sony headunit is as it was in there when I bought it but I do know it has a little ball as a remote (which I think is unique). Just a hint if people see this around or if they see soundstream gear and a sony unit next to it :P

Yeah three guys and three girls have been arrested, they are the ones who did the thieving in the house.

I am going to the police station today to hopefully find my necklace and some other stuff.

Just that someone out there on the streets has got my sony headunit and soundstream gear :)

If everyone can continue to keep an eye and ear out I will love that and be very appreciative. I don't think it has been sold yet and if it has been, someone is about to gloat about soundstream gear in their car.

No luck yet :(

We are now hoping that someone gloats about their new soundstream gear so we can get it back.

They pass it around in their groups as collateral so the people arrested would have passed it to someone who passed it to someone who passed it to someone else.

Police are still investigating so any input would be appreciated but I am unfortunately starting to give up.
