I'm definately gonig to try out this fuel

http://www.deh.gov.au/atmosphere/fuelquali...t/chapter4.html

have a good read through it.

Just remember, E10 is as cheap as regular fuel, and apparently here it says that it has a ron rating of 96?

The reason I'm a little excited about this is because in mackay, we only have 95ron.

I think we are the only place in australia that doesn't have 98 ron fuel.

I notice no-one ever mentions the hygroscopic properties of the E10 blend.

I imagine the fuel as supplied to the lab for testing is spot on, but elsewhere it's humid and wet. How much of that 10% ethanol is water. Fuel filters close over very fast with even the smallest amount of water, and I'm not paying big fuel prices for that.

Following the change to low sulphur diesel and the simply amazing effects it has on "O" rings, plastics etc, I don't trust the lab brains with this one!
