I've just bought myself an 87 R31 Skyline Ti, and I was wondering what the parts compatibility between the Australian built Skylines and Japanese R31 and onwards imports was like. I wasn't necessarly meaning the mecanical bits, but stuff like wheels, steering wheels, brakes maybe?, but also any other bits that are compatible.

If there is anyone that can help me out with this info it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Just about any parts from a jap r31 should bolt straight on. As long as wheels are four stud with i think its 114.3(? correct me if i'm wrong) offset they should fit.

As far as I know all turbo skylines from r32 onwards are 5 stud.

Import front struts (same as aussie GTS 1 or 2) have bigger discs and brakes which are floating disc, which also then makes it easy to upgrade to r32 4 piston callipers and just re-drill the discs to 31 4 stud hub.

Offset between the aussie 31 and jap 31 are the same, so wheels are interchangeable. The 31's have an old school RWD offset, so finding decent wheels that fit are hard to come by.
