Recommended Posts

damn theirs heapsa sh1t on that report, the 2 XX's on the boot and rear left qtr panel means they have been replaced (pretty sure). Try posting it in the japan section on these forums, those guys are very helpful!!

Cheers,

Mark.

lol nice cover up job of the USS auction report :D

Here's a rough translation of the japanese bits on the report, the XX's on the diagram means replaced.

Rear of car has repair history

Radiator Support is Bent

Back panel and boot floor is bent

Frame has dent in it

Also has:

Lipped guards (to fit larger rims)

Aftermarket exhaust, air filter, Suspension, shocks, Sway bars, Cold Air Intake, Boost meter, Nismo cluster (hence why km's are questioned), Steering, Shift knob.

It also mentions that there's many more aftermarket parts, and its probably best off being inspected in person.

Just above the factory optional tick boxes someone's taken to it with MS paint (while blocking out the auction run number, vehicle VIN etc) and cleared it out, so there might be more to it.

Sounds like a sweetly modified GTR that's been hit pretty heavily and is good for parts.

depends what you want the car for, if its a parts taking car, then you don't need to worry about bent frames.

If "the car was purchased before the laws changed" :D then its can be imported as a 15 year old car and the conditions of eligibility is up to the engineer that signs it off. There's no chance a car like that is coming in under SEVS.

What a mess... the car and the auction sheet!

Can't remember what 'R' on auction sheets means, it's crashed or something? Anyways, theres quite a bit of damage right the way around, but on the good side it's got a fair few aftermarket bits stuck to it, multiple guages, suspension, aforementioned exhaust, induction pipe and some other stuff I can't read... can you get a bigger scan? Some, nay, most of the kanji is illegible.

R means accident repair.

off the diagram this is possibly what its supposed to mean:

a3 = heavy scratches across broad area on the front

paint blemish on bonnet and front bumper

u3 = heavy dent in side sil

au2 = medium dent scratch in rear driver side guard

a1 and u1 = slight scratches

w2 = repainted

A good chance is since some people are still buying "15 year old cars" and putting them up for sale saying they were bought before Feb 7th but was 4 weeks ago not 8 months, they have been caught out so they try to cover their tracks a bit better.

Shit don’t start me.

:D

I only hope, that, the ‘individuals’ who honestly get caught through dodgy broker / supplier work, will be protected, whilst those who are responsible for been 'too busy running a straight shooting company', will get the rectum ripped out of there 'successful company'.
