What The devil has gone Wrong With My Car?

OK for the past few days my car has been giving me absolute hell and I am asking here to see if I can sort it out before taking it a mechanic. I know you guys are really helpful, so here goes.

I've got an RB20DET in my s13, converted by a highly praised workshop, with a pod as the only mod. It's been fine for about 2 months now, but in the past couple of days it's shit itself. Everytime I slow down it has a heart attack, it revs really low and feels like it's about to stall. It's stalled on me 4 times in the past 2 days, 3 times today. I have no idea what can be wrong as I haven't touched a thing on it since I got the engine. Everytime I stop at a red light it either stalls or almost stalls. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with it, as I don't want it stalling everytime I stop.

Aftermarket blow off valve?

Did you change anything when it started stalling?

If you start it whilst stopped, does it idle fine?

It's got the stock blow off valve. Haven't touched a thing other than the dipstick when checking the oil. After I start it up again it loses power for a bit (drives as slow as a commodore ) kinda like theres no pressure going into the turbo.

Sounds like an air leak to me. Check all your intake hoses and pipes for any sign of a boost leak.

Yep,sounds like air leak.Check blow off valve hose and pcv hose.Even the o-ring on the dip stick.Clean AFM,look for wires that may have been stressed when the motor was put in and have now broken away.Even squirt some carby cleaner down the idle control motor as they can block.

check your afm, there will be a million posts on this subject here. It is one of the most common causes of the car stalling. It can be repaired (no gaurantees usually) if ...somewhere..
