I had a sc400 soarer at one stage and I went to cobra exhausts in Penrith on mugoa road. The dual 3inch with 3-4" x-force mufflers set me back $850. The shop was for sale I think....this is 2yrs ago now. If you go out that way ask for Dan Brady. Quality at a good price!

Hey guys, im looking for a good exhaust shop in sydney! any recommendations for R33 GTSt? What places have you guys got your exhaust custom made and prices??

Thanks alot guys...

Having had 2 custom made systems, I would suggest getting the turbo to back of cat off this forum ( BATMBL ) and then pic a cat-back system from the 100's available to suit your taste. :)

Or, if price is the issue, go see Just Jap in Kirrawee and grab a X-Force "complete" bolt-up system for under $1,000 ( from memory ).

If you must have a custom one built, I believe Charlstone Exhaust ( spelling ? ) is good or Hi-Tech / Lambros.

Oh, prices for a custom system range from like $1,500 to $2,500 for a "turbo to tip" system depending on metal, mufflers and your requirements.

I got my exhaust through Castle Hill Exhaust and personally found them great to deal with and a good bunch of guys (two of the guys drive 8-9 second rotors, so they really understand performance cars)

Yea im going to contact castle hill exhaust tomorrow for a quote...

Liverpool exhausts quoted me $900 turbo to tip, but a few people have told me their welding is shit... has any one experianced this??

i dun mind spending few extra $$$ just as long as i get a good clean job and noticable power increase...

thanks guys

    • Ok, still waiting for a date to get the cams installed on the MX5, why so long, because MX5 Mania has received a few new sets of different cams with different specs for the MZR and are currently trialling them, and working out what is best for 2.5 "powers" with stock internals, in the end if I go bigger than the Kelford stage 1 cams I'll need to look at the valve springsĀ  Hopefully I'll get the news on them next week As for the boot of the car getting fixed, I hopefully pick it up early next week, I was sweating on picking it up yesterday but, meh, it was not to be, so ne weekend cruising for me
