Yeah car is always insight when disarming.

It's arming that gets a bit annoying. Walking into work the other day I was maybe three metres from the car and it wouldn't lock.

Bunch of variables at play though. Inherent noise around you. If there is a transmitter of any kind around you that will seriously affect range.

It depends on you that how much you want security and how much you can pay for that.There is variety of security devices.Like you can use hidden alarm lock that will triggered when the door will open without keys and other alarm system that disable your electrical components to work if open in unfair means.

well, to breath a bit of life into the thread, im also looking at getting a full alarm system into my r33 gtst...

was looking at Autowatch and Mongoose (maybe Viper)... just wondering what the general consensus is on these brands???

want atleast 3 point immobiliser and integrated turbo timer (or atleast turbo timer friendly).... automatic window winder would also be nice =)

also, any suggestions as to who would be the best to install the system without screwing it up would be awsome!!! im in NSW, so whoever is around the sydney area would be great.....
