Making Cai Box

Hi all, I would like some ideas on what material to use to make CAI box?

I wanna make the POD sucking cold air in and not the hot air in the bonet.

So... Should I just use aluminium? Some say its not good as it absorbs more heat? What should be used?

Also where can you get that 3" pipe thingy that you can stick where the stock intercooler piping goes out under the left front of the car, to suck cold air into the box area.

aluminium will work fine, and look good.

Otherwise u can use stuff called formashield from clark rubber, i made one out of this stuff with wire reinforcing. it looks bad bad does the job

3" piping stuff u can get from hardware stores just go have a look around a choose something suitable.

If you did not have a fmic you could just use the stock airbox.
