hey there,

i was just wondering whats everyones opinion on these to cars, would you prefer a newer looking car but its a GTS or the older r32 but its a GTR

i guess there points are, the r32 is a GTR (cant go wrong) and the r33 is newer and better looking (by most general publics opinion, especial chicks)

remember its YOUR personal opinion, what you would do and not what someone else should do.

id get a 33 GTS-T ...

a) because i wouldnt want to own a GTR on my p's

B) because i dislike the look of 32's in general, and love the look of 33's in general

and c) "cant go wrong" with a 32 GTR? what is that statement based on :S, the 33 is newer, and should be more reliable in general

I like 32 gtrs, but as dezz said a gtr on my p's would be a pain in the ass. I can barely make the insurance payments on my 33 let alone for a gtr.

The 33 was a good substitute in the end. Good looks and reliable power. I don't care for people's comments on how they're too fat, bulgy looking etc. everyone's entitled to an opinion, and I think they're damn hot.

That said, get a '34

I'd go the R32 GT-R

Don't mind the R33 GTS-t but even though its a newer car its still not a GT-R.

I've driven the R33 and it feels more weighty and less of a drivers car compared the R32's.

The dash and the seats look and feel pretty boring to me. I feel like i"m driving a camry. I think nissan went a bit conservative on the R33 series.

The GT-R even though she's older has a much more meaner prowess on the streets with its wider guards and sleeker stance. and given there are so many 33's out there, to me they just don't turn heads anymore.

but if you seriously want an R33, should spend a little extra and get the GT-R version of it.

agreed.

true the 33's dont turn heads as much these days due to there being a flood of them in the country, but if you like the car, you dont need it just to turn heads or impress anybody.

gt-r wise if i could ever afford it it'd be a 34, thats what you call a street prowler.

R32 GTR.

Not really a question.

Perhaps you should work out what is important to you, ie looks ,performance, insurance, reliabilityand maintainence, uniqueness, etc.

A GTR will cost more to maintain.

I would get an R32 GT-R... soley because I was one of those 16 year old who was scarred for life after seeing the Godzillas eat everything in the '91 - '92 Aussie Group A touring car seasons.

The R33's only look good (like *really* good) in GT-R form anyway. And you can't go past the RB26 can you?

I'd get the R33 GTST just based on the fact that I couldn't live with the attention and cost of having a R32 GTR as my daily driver. Performance wise there is no competition, GTR all the way. But I'd be too scared to park the GTR anywhere, and it would be more expensive to maintain than the GTST. I love the front and side profile of the R32's, but not the rear. The R33 series was responsible for my love of Skylines. I'd still rather have an R34 GTT though, but while I'm dreaming I'd like the R34 GTR more (hey if I could afford the R34 GTR, I could afford to have a second car for my daily driver!)

I'll go the R32 GTR road again.

I'm not interested in modding cars anymore. Have better things to do than worry about cops and defect stickers, headaches when modding's go wrong. So it has to be stock.

I drove a few people's 33's and they just didn't feel right... as in the steering was too light and brakes didn't give much feed back, suspension was soft. In other words the chassis is not as communicative as my old R32.

Dispite the 4wd and the fact the 32 GTR is the best of its class. I would go a 32 GTR anyday.

IMO The 33 is the model that doesn't quite fit the skyline picture.

The 32-34 you can see the relation in the aggresive look.

I do like the 33s but they are just not aggresive enough!
