hey everyone

im in year 12 and i sat down to talk to my dad about what im going to do with my life

and i decided that i am going to join the army.... blah blah blah

anyway me and dad figured it out that i could get a car that had a max cost of around 20,000 dollars

ill have it on my p's

i will drive it from sydney to QLD about 5 times a year so has to be a bit comfy

but i want it to have some balls

cheers guys

ben

u want something that will do long drives, comfortably....falcons and commodores are ideal for that. skylines etc will be revving at 3000+RPM the whole way, where as the falcons and commodores will be under 2000RPM at 100km and a bit over....

they're also not performance cars, but have decent power for base model family cars....and will be cheaper to maintain and fix if anything goes wrong

Or.....you could buy a Stagea!

But seriously.....We used to have a Supercharged Statesman.....I would definatly recommend one of those to you. Very reliable and also cheap to run, had a fair bit of up and go in it......But very very comfy, and very pimlishous :P

my cousin has a VX..not sure of the exact model, it might be lumina, but its a supercharged V6...and its definitely got some kick....

have you driven a base model BA or VX, VZ etc.....they got a fair bit of kick for base model family cars

Wow! Thats a manual! Kinda makes me wanna buy it.....but yeah, Stageas have a ton of room and heaps of potential (mechanical wise) They handle very well....and there is plenty of spare parts. RB25DET, so no probs with engine parts :P
