My mate has an R32 GTS (soon to have a VH45 in it), but anyways he's running 9' rears with 8' front and with 245 rubber on the back, the rear tyres were getting rubbed out a bit just on the sidewall, with lipping it's now fine. So that'd be a should/probably from me, and also obviously the R32GTR guards are able to accomodate larger rims and rubber so GTR experience is irrelevent in your situation.

Cheers

Gotta remember tho mate...its not all about the width. Usually means that different width/offset combinations can b used and thus diferent charecteristics. ie. alot less offet (+12 for example) may mean that u will get scrubbing against ur arch while the same wheel in a +32 mite b perfect

i was using any numbers just to use an example.

If ur car is lowered and ur running those wheels they'll b sticking slightly out of the guards i believe...best to fit them and see how they go coz its not only body clearance but suspension, brake clearance u gotta worry about

Baz will vouch for this.

My R32 Gts-t, has 17"x10" on the rear and 9" on the front.

No rubbing, and the car is lowered as far as it will go with its

TEIN Racing suspension.

I’m certain you will have no worries.
