omg lower it, hehe

are you happy with them?

they the right width for you, no scrubbing. Who cares how much a rim costs or doesnt cost, i would buy a 2 dollar rim if it was of course a good reputable rim and would brake. But as long as i liked it on my car, thats the important thing... so think about it.

or are there other rims you prefer?

mmm dish *drools*

well dont jump into anything. Worse comes to worse, buy those nice work rims, and buy me some at the same time, ill give you the specs and stuff of what i want, ehehe ...

and keep the other rims and sell them for a fair price, i honestly have no idea what they are worth etc ...

Hehe yeah I have to lower it

I was thinking of getting a set of WORK MEISTER S1 GOLD like these-

These rims look great, but get them in black with the polished dish.

As stated b4, if you are happy with the impul rims who cares how much they are worth. A few years ago (appox. 3yrs) i bought a cheap set of 19's for my car. I have just changed the colour of the rims, due to a paint job on the car, and the rims now look hotter then ever, so happy with the end result of the whole project. B)

Same as mine hey Al, expet mine are 2 inches smaller. First thing people mention about the car are the rims :D

As mentioned above, mine are NOT real AVS rims :(, they are a rip off and made in 19" :). They are actually Lenso Muse, 19x8.

3 years ago, when affordable 19's just came on the market, i paid $3600, that also included the tyres, new nuts, 1 set of lock nuts, ballance, alignment and fitting.

Tyres: Hankook K104s (These tyres are pretty damn good for their price)

F: 245/35/19

R: 275/30/19

And have just recently been powder coated from silver to charcol, giving them a new lease in life  Not a bad result for $120 :)

CameronBNR32: Sorry to divert from your topic, i was originally pointing out that you do not need to buy expevsive rims to make your car look good. If you are happy with the style and colour stick with the Impul.

I was not happy with the original colour of my rims as they looked white in photos (i really dislike white rims) and for a mesilly $120 i changed the whole look of the car. They may not be everyones "cup of tea" but i love the change.

Hey guys,

My car came over from Japan with Impul Type R rims on it.

I cant find any info on these. are they a rare rim?

wondering if it is worth getting them polished repaired and repainted.

About the rims, they're about 13 - 15 years old. Ok they're 2 piece or whatever, but Ieven though they're quite rare now (due to age if anything else) I can't say that they're that valuable to anyone except people who are into vintage rims like those.

As for getting them polished, I say yeah, do it. They suit the car in style and vintage aspects, so it's a good match IMO.
