Rb26 Wiring Harness... What Can I Cut Off?

Im currently building a LC GTR torana for a friend of mine with a RB30DET engine..... The 32 GTR front cut arrived last week and I have been going over the wiring diagrams in the workshop manual, My aim is to cut the wiring loom down to the bare minimum... only keeping the components required for the engine to run......

The way im planning on doing this is to keep the ECCS harness (W-2) in tact, cut off anything i dont need from the Main-Engine Conpartment harness(W-1) and from what I can tell only the diagnostic unit is needed from the Main harness (W-1). Which means nothing is needed from the Body Harness, the E-TS harness (W-3) or the HiCas Harness (W-5).....Does this sound right to any of your electrically minded people out there????? Is there anything im missing that will effect the engine?
