writeoff
Shorty 01, there is a current thread in the Skylines and other Specific Vehicles section covering Prestige. If you do a search it has been discussed several times before. I imported three cars through Prestige. None had their a/c degassed (which I had paid for) this ended up costing me $375 per car to be degassed and regassed. I was charged $1188 for storage fees on the Port Adelaide docks while the Department of Heritage and Environment argued with my customs agent over this issue. Two cars had to go to the crash repairer for a total cost of $2000. Two cars needed a complete set of new tyres (I had enquired about this prior to purchase). All up each car went $6000 over Geoff's highest estimates to get on the road, putting me $18000 over budget. Two of the cars are awesome. I won't use Prestige again. Nightcrawler
I recently bought my R34 through Prestige and so far all has been good. Had some delays and slight over-run with costs regarding storage at North Haven quarantine (due to the car getting here TOO quickly would you believe), and compliance is going to be slightly more costly than reported, but all up I have been very happy so far.
