Mate just a quick note. R32 and R33 GTS-ts use different slave cylinders. If it's a GTR then once again you will have to be more specific as there was a transition period on the R32s from push to pull setup, all R33s use a pull.

Actually, bigsully84, i dont beleive your correct

List goes as follows

Nissan Silvia/180SX ®S13 CA18DET,®PS13,S14,S15 SR20DET (PUSH)

Nissan ECR33 RB25DET, BNR32RB26DETT (to 93/2) PUSH

Nissan BNR32 (after 93/2) BCNR33,BNR34, Stegea WGNC34 (PULL)

So, R33 GTR's are pull, R33 GTST's are push, all R32's but late model GTRs(late models are pull) are push and all R34's are pull

hahaha I thought so. I didn't wanna say anything but I know for certain that it is a push type slave. Bolts towards the front of the box and pushes backwards on the clutch fork...

My VLT box was a push type and the slave nearly fits but the bolt holes don't line up. If I can't find one I may need to make up a bracket.

Any help would be appreciated guys. I've tried all the local import shops and they all just laughed at me.

Are they really that hard to find ???

Actually ... I think you should read my post again. When I stated all R33s I was still referring to subject matter of that sentence which is the "GTR range". Alex however is correct when he stated that the R33 GTS25-t range use a push configuration.

When I'm wrong I'll admit it, but in this case I'm not so I won’t :(

But let’s get back on track.

Hilly:

You require an R33 GTS25-t slave cylinder, and your current clutch line will screw straight in. In all honesty I would purchase one brand new from Nissan, for the little extra you pay over a second hand one it's worth even cent for peace of mind.

I didn't even think to try Nissan for some reason. Tried Repco, bursons, global, etc. Then I just figured you coulnd't get them new.

Will give Nissan a tingle tomorrow. Thanks again.

Hey, not sure if this helps, but i changed a slave cylinder on my RB20 box with a repco slave for aussie R31 skyline. it was exactly the same even though the bloke at repco said there was no way it will fit. nissan should have brand newies anyway, not all dealers deal in imports.... apparently they have to pay extra to have import parts listing.

Cheers

You could give All Clutch & Brake Service a call on

08 8277 8122

They have sussed out the generic equivalent for heaps of import clutch and brake parts.

I bought a brand new clutch master cylinder from them a couple of weeks ago for $63 + freight to me and I think the slave was even cheaper.

Whats the going rate for a R33 GTR slave at nissan? Lead time also?

I mean, it would be very similar to what the GTST would be, so if someone gets a price, please share.

Can i used a R33 GTST slave on a GTR box? I have the slave/master here (doing conversion) but waiting on the box and id rather get it all ready now... ill be getting custom lines so that aint an issue...
