TommO
I get 400kms to ~46 litres, on average. That's some city driving, some freeway driving, and a fair bit of time spent on boost Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90737-r33-gtst-skyline-fuel-usage/#findComment-1634832 Share on other sites
elbee111
I have been watching this for a while now. With a mixture of Provincial Town and Highway driving, I have been getting between 9.5 and 14.0 l/100kms. Most of the figures were around 11 or so. Come on guys. Do the right thing and work your usage out correctly. Don't just rely on the old "I get such and such per tank". If anyone wants to know how to do it just ask. BL01
Stock R33 on highway staying at 110km/h will drain about 9l/100kms of fuel. Roughly, 600+kms. That's purely highway driving.. PHT33
Yeah, get from 10-12.5km/L on the highway depending on how much overtaking is required, but then take that down to about 9km/L with round town/on boost/frequent starts. How about you? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90737-r33-gtst-skyline-fuel-usage/#findComment-1649719 Share on other sites

PHT33
Sorry for any misleading info, she's an auto. Stock apart from K&N panel filter, 2 1/2" custom exhaust and iridium plugs. True, the more ponnies, the more fuel usage, but seriously, is there any other way? BL01
12l/100km is as good as it can get for GTSTs. 400km per tank is pretty avg. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90737-r33-gtst-skyline-fuel-usage/#findComment-1655772 Share on other sites

I have done absolutely everything to improve my fuel economy, but still only get 18-20L/100kms. I think my HKS SSQV BOV is the culprit.... are you running atmo type BOV on your car? Will try to install SAFC2 and see how it goes Try changing the O2 sensor, mine got a bit better after Edited October 22, 2005 by dd4321 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/90737-r33-gtst-skyline-fuel-usage/#findComment-1659374 Share on other sites

Now it is in the 11s. Still, the extra power has to come from somewhere. B) Our driving is a mixture of Provincial Town and Highway so we don't use as much as the city folk thankfully.
