Rb26dett Constantly Running 6th Bearing

[email protected] have a r32 with a trust high capacity sump and despite that seem to constanty run big end bearing 6. I have used mobil 1 fully synthetic oil with upgraded nismo bearings and nismo high flow oil pump. on the first motor i used 8 litres oil and on the sixth motor 7.1 litres . i reside in johannesburg south africa which lies 3000 feet above coastline.i am using a single ball bearing turbo with 720cc injectors boosting 1.3 with 102 octane fuel (currently highest available). compression is 7,8:1 with some headwork done. my best et time was 11.5s at 205 km/h (5th motor) on street tires. need help urgently.

got baffles? assume pick up has been correctly modified? restricted flow to the head/ improved drainage from the head?

are you rebuilding the engine FULLY each time the bearing gets spun? try blowing compressed air through the bearing supply gallery, it may be blocked with gunk. other than that, i'd suggest a supply/pressure problem, possibly because of the sump baffling issue above.

Is it possible the crank is not straight? did you get it checked and machined between builds?
