Aftermarket Ecu As Boost Controller

Hi there,

I just bought an R32 GTS-t off mate of mine and he was about to install a Blitz DUAL SBC Spec-R controller but unfortunately got lazy and decided to sell it as it was.

The upside to it though was the fact that he had already installed an aftermarket ECU being the Link GTSLink replacement ECU a couple of years back. so no more AFM.

I was told that using a solenoid and the geniune hand controller I could rig the ECU to control boost.

just wondering which type of solenoid and what other bits are needed to make it work.

Has anyone ever worked on a Link? cos I've been given the funny look by a few of the tuning shops around melbourne and they won't touch it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

just plug the solenoid in as it would be stock and the link will controll it.

Nice little system.

My mate uses it and he says the boost control is awesome.

The link plugins can be quite comprehensively configured to suit different solonoids. So maybe pickup a standard skyline solonoid or equivalent and see how you go with it.
