Top Menu Bar

Just wondering if you guys were thinking of putting in a top menu bar like the one on the boostcruising site to help better navigate around the site?

I, myself find it annoying having to go back several pages to get to the index of certain forum areas after a while.

If you guys want help putting this in or having the menu bar created, let me know. I've done several menu bars before - creating (not the code, just the links within the menu as the source/code of the menu bar is free to download) & implementing them into sites for people.

the forum layout at the moment allows you to go to most sections in two clicks.

For example, to get from this section to the "Cefiro's and 4 Door Sedan" section.

You'd click on:

Skylines Australia > Site Maintenance > Ideas/Feedback & Bugs

and then on:

Subforums: The Next Skyline, Stagea Discussion, Cefiros and other RB powered sedans, Other Nissan Imports, Classic Skylines

That's 2 clicks and 1 page inbetween.

now multiply that by the hundreds and thousands of times the page is loaded every day that's the sort of overheads you're looking at for a menu like on boostcruising. I'll see if there's any simpler sort of menu's that we can use (maybe text only). Not really a huge priority though as its more convenience than a necessity.
