Hi all, every morn when I start my car I have to spend about 2 minutes pumping the brake pedal to get the pressure up in the brake system.....how ever I was doing that this morning and after about 5-6 seconds the engine got sluggish and cut out (yes, I let the fuel pump buzzing stop before starting the car)

just wondering if these are linked, if so what is it?, if not then i guess theres a hole along the brake line somewhere.....how do I find the hole?

cheers

Tom

is it only on initial start up in the morning ? doesnt feel spongey at any stage ?

maybe even a broken seal in the master cylinder..

just look for signs of brake fluid around fittings on guard liners suspension arms anything like that or below or around the master cylinder :O

hope this helps.

I will keep checking but the fluid level issn't going down....possibly a master cylinder air leak then?!

yes, only at startup/when cold

just before leaving work today I pumped the brake a few times BEFORE starting the car, which helped a bit
