Hi Mate, I made 213RWKW@14psi (std turbo)(before my new mods were finished )using the following mods:

Full rebuild - RB25DET (headwork inc)

Bosch 044 Fuel pump & surge tank (in boot setup)

Monza fuel 1:1 rising rate regulator

Apexi SAFC 2

Apexi GT Spec FMIC

Jasma 3.5" Turbo back exhaust system (4"tip)

K&N Pod filter (the large one, can't remember what model)

HKS SSQ BOV

Cusco Oil catch can

Everything else was std (injectors, coils, turbo, manifold, AFM etc..

I have memories of other people posting better power figures while using the std injectors (with different mods to mine though) so do a search & you might find some more info.

Cheers.java script:emoticon('B)')

with stock injectors, 250rwkw is on border line

with upgraded fuel rail then prolly a tiny bit more

but is it really worth it? s15 injectors are 480cc (vs 370cc) and will be fine and can be had cheaply

thanks paul, btw do u know how much nismo 555 injectors' worth? secondhand of course

Don't mean to detract from main topic but what price is reasonable for 2nd hand injectors?

I was looking at upgrading injectors on my GTR as part of a number of upgrades. Was not sure of the buy second hand and then spend $20-30 each injector to have it rebuilt when I came across a guy in US selling via EBay. (Risks aside of buying from someone not local), is the following a good price for RB26 injectors? I would put up what the price was for RB25 side feed but did not see one specifically for this. ( Has SR25 side feed 800cc for set of 6 US$435)

Nissan 800cc Direct Fit Top Feed RB26DETT INJECTORS EBay7993894339 Buy now US$360

sent email and will do 1000cc for the same price

Sorry mate, just checked my old CAT in the garage, it isn't standard it is 3.5" also. So the exhaust is 3.5" Turbo back. The fuel regualtor was around $100 on EBAY, but I do advise you to spend a bit more. I had to put a SARD one my car for it's latest mods. (now the car is 285RWKW & will be 300 soon) (Garrett GT30 Turbo).

I paid $318.20 for it to be supplied and fitted. I had pretty good fuel economy with the SAFC 2, but it all depends on how you drive it.

I could get around 450km per tank driving "normally" or only 250 to 300 when planting the foot. I still can get 400 - 450 km to a tank now , but only if I drive like a Grandma. B) BUT - Only 200 km per tank if I want yo hear my Screamer pipe :O

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Chris :)

    • I once hit my knee on an exhaust on my sisters Suzuki Sierra after she drove it her *normal* way. My knee looked like porridge for weeks. Bec and my daughters never go near this car. I can see one of my dogs losing an ear though. 🤔
    • Nice, love a good GTS-t.  IMHO the factory body kit with the 'aero' front bumper is perfect. Can't improve on it unless it's a GT-R. But it looks like you changed it to the normal bumper?
    • Easy solution to both of those. Put a split bit of garden hose on each one. Attractive and practical!
    • So I guess the next thing to do will be to discuss whether to create a new section of the forums to hold the library (boo hiss?), somewhat undoing the recent tidy up, or if there is a bolt on wiki module for Invision? (I must profess ignorance as to what has been done, what it might cost, etc. I have only briefly googled and seen discussion on adding it.) Or is a wiki even the best way to do what I'm talking about? It possibly isn't. Given that we're trying to re-display forum content, it probably needs to be presented as forum content in forum format, and a wiki would probably struggle with that. A wiki might still be the best way to do some other things, so I'll keep the idea simmering if we don't use it here. Back to the library as "part of the forums". Would we do a single new library? Or put a library thread in each section? Pluses and minuses for each of these, surely. Would we do as I originally suggested, and make the first post in the library be the total of the library, with any reply posts just being the inputs and suggestions I originally posited? Or would we allow posts to accumulate one after the other, each containing additions to the library? Maybe the first post is still an index or something. It's all sounding horribly more manual and messy than my original brain fart. But I hope there's some other good ideas floating around - because every time I come up with a new one of my own I immediately see problems with it.
    • Tips look fine to me......but Boring stuff: Legalities - Vehicle standards notes that exhausts cannot extend to a point where they could cause injury Scary stuff: Mrs cuts open her shin putting stuff in the boot (ensure you have some bandaids and shiny jewellery handy)
