Speed Limiter Removal

I removed my speed limiter last night and I'm just wondering if it can have any adverse effects on the car besides the HICAS? - which isn't a problem seeing as though my HICAS is non - existent anyway...

Will it damage the speedo at all going past the 180 on it? I know in my mates supra it did..

Also, unlikely as it sounds, could it do anything to the engine??

Cut wire 53 on ecu harness..

research it more first...

find an ecu pinout...

Cos at the moment I'm getting a hell shitty idle.. and it only started happening after I cut the wire... I know the ecu would be reset too.

Will not have an adverse effect on your car. Stop worrying.

I did this 2 years ago and had no problems since.

the best thing wat i did is when i cut the wire (close as posable to the ecu) i put a switch so i can turn it on or off. coz i know if i have it off all the time i will kill myself goin past 180km/h.
