Howdy,

Couple of questions. I've got an Nm35 Stagea

Where's the best place to get an immobilizer/alarm installed? Do most of you buy a kit off ebay and then get a place like Hobart Audio to install it? I recently imported the car and it's come with an alarm (and maybe an immobiliser) but my insurer quoted that I needed an 'Australian Standard immobiliser,' which has me worried if it got knocked off.

Also, where's the cheapest place to get a dump and catback installed? I rang up Moonah Mufflers and Carline and the latter seems the cheaper for an install.

Cheers

best bet is to get onto some1 on here thats down thay way and is a wizz on the welder / tig and get them to do it / make one, the exaust shops will cost you 10x wat there worth :) i dont know any1 down hobart way sorry

I'm sourcing the exhaust and dump in SA and VIC from those that have already custom built them for the m35. Just need someone to install them.

I'll pop into Auto Addiction and see what they can do for me.Cheers

I have no idea how difficult this would be in an m35 but I change the r33's exhaust over about once a month and am a self maintenance newb. I have a track exhaust which gets shoved on and then I have my stock one for normal driving, keeps the neighbours/police/wife happy ;)

Prop her up on some axle stands and have a good look how difficult it is, if it doesn't have a robotic goat under there bleating at you about safe sex you're probably going to enjoy doing it yourself. I'd be keen to help out (goat aside) if you want a hand, and I'm sure I can volunteer another few people off here too :)

I've been told that changing the dump on a m35 is not a fun task at all

I hereby retract my offer of help. Your goat is outside my area of expertise.

Go somewhere like here http://www.yellowpages.com.au/tas/kingston/kingborough-exhausts-12099199-listing.html
