Has anyone replaced there CV joints before? Are they the same as the skylines, if so what model. For future reference.

I've had 2 replaced, but no idea what the part number is, my mechanic did it both times. i don't think it should be too hard to find one that will fit

Yeah Mercury have ordered in 2 front cv boots for mine, just waiting until I can afford to pay for them to be put on

Have you got the FAST software? I do just need a VIN number and I can check part numbers if you want?

I need a pair of front CV boots, one is split so I might as well get the pair. Can you do a search for me please. Use your Stagea vin number, it won't matter as all RSFours are the same.

Once I figure out how to find it, havent used it in years, plus really busy at work so might have to wait till this evening, but I'll do my best

I plugged in my VIN number and it came up with what my beast was, just cant seem to quickly find the cv-joints

EDIT: Still cant quite figure out how to see the cv-joints mainly because FAST is huge and I dont really know what section it is under, but being a non-mechanice most of the sections dont really mean much to me, like there are transfer cases, gearing sprockets, clutch drive shafts, transfer gears, so I roughly know what they look like I'll just troll though until I think I am looking at it and post some pics

G'day, I just had a cv boot replaced and I was told it was the same as r32 gtr. Looking at the new, look in the large end and the contact surface with the flange was a smooth complete circle. The other new sample had large half moon locating lugs in the large end, I think it was gtst. Hope you can understand this and is of some help. Cheers. Jason

39155KA, Front outer Boot repair kit

39156KA, Front inner Boot repair kit

Looks like the kit includes everythin you need, Boot, Clamps, clip and grease.
