Hicas Lock Bar

hey peeps, i no what to do with the hicas lock bar replacement except for one thing.....how to block off or recirculate the power steering fluid.......there is two pipes going into the hicas rack one inlet and one outlet. i was going to just join them using rubber/braided hose but ive heard of some people doing this and the clamps/hose coming of under pressure whilst driving?? just after some opinions on what to use to connect the pipes together and was wondering if any of you guys/girls make metal connections for them or no anybody that does

D1 garage sell a kit I believe. Personally ive got the Tomei Hicas lock kit. Its just two brass shims that lock the rear rack in place, and a little black box for the hicas comp that makes it think all is good. Everything else stays the same (lines etc)

ive already got the lock bar just need to no bout the fluid lines

You couuld/should use a pipe flaring tool on the end of the pipes befor you ad a hose and clamps. This should prevent them from comming off.

Have you considered removing the lines all the way back to the pump? there are details in GTRGeoff's HICAS Lock bar thread. Saves a few kg too
