Car Problem - Help Please!

Hi

There is something seriously wrong with my car and i was just wondering if anyone out there knows what it might be.

I started up the car, put it in reverse, reversed out of the drive, then when i tried to change into first the gear stick felt very loose and i was not able to put it in any gear or even into neutral. It was stuck in reverse (and still is).

Dont know whether it is the gear box? when i wiggle the gear stick around you can hear a slight rattling so maybe a bolt has just come loose or something?

If anyone can offer any ideas/advice it would be greatly appreciated.

i fink it's ur syncro's man.. i fink u didn't step clutch pedal all da way and changed gear, and stuffed syncro...
