Well if you know what ur doing and have some mechanical knowledge you can make the cheap kit work just fine. As stated you shouldnt need to use the thread tape. If all the fittings are done up properly and checked they should not leak, i have installed two of these kits from just jap and had no problems with either of them, and further i know of two other people who have them and also had no problems then the ally bungs for the filter relocator. So the kits themselves arent bad. Its normally the fitting that will play a role in how good or bad the end result is.
