turbo timer handy for thieves?

HEy all i remember reading somewhere that if you install a turbo timer, then this could be very handy for thieves as it gives then to two wiring looms to steal your car....

Is this true and also to what extent? i mean if you have a 3 point immobiliser then doesnt the turbo timer show them the ignition cables in which case they will still need to disable 2 more points?

Most thieves already know which is the ignition.. .. could someone please help me out...

The turbo timer wires are only mean't to be hooked up to you ignition and accessories, they would only be able to get power to your ignition but it's not enough to start the car. They still have to find the starter and the 3rd point of immobilisation. If the turbo time is installed properly as soon as you drop the handbrake your engine is meant to shut down, so they can't drive away in your car.

Wow the handbrake thing is cool. I heard something about remote start + the clutch shutting the engine off too.
