i would also like to see some proven results, we all just asume that the more we spend the better the results are going to be?

ive just fitted HKS 25/30's and fitted R33 GTR dumps as they are a bit larger than the R32 GTR ones (look a bit resrictive).

I would recommend the trust MX dump pipe and front pipe kit. It will cost around $1400, But it is the best design I have seen. The dump pipes are split and about twice the length of HKS ect with a shorter front pipe. These are the ducks nuts.

The Trust MX pipe is a regular aftermarket front pipe (~$500). You talking about the Trust/Greddy Front Extension Pipes.

What about these X-force dump pipes to suit a 32/33 GTR.

They are only $499 for the pair through JustJap.com

They are just HKS knockoffs. The split is too short.

the trust and ces long-wastegate style dumps are the only ones of that type I've seen. ces do little things like put a reverse trumpet shaped taper on the turbo outlet flange that increases in size up to the engine pipe diam.

for the money a set of HPC coated comp style dumps would be my preference. if you're going to spend $1500 ballpark it's worth going a bit further to get the 'finer' details.

if Trevor does the test on the weekend i'm happy to organise a group buy, he's done them before but i'll have to get some idea of who'd be interested. the last group buy through advan for the trust models @ $1100 fell over due to lack of interest.

The only thing I would change if I was doing it again would be to use forged rods and stronger head bolts. These items will limit me to around the 350awkw mark – which was kind of easy to get to by the way.

yopu can push it too 400rwkw safely on stock rods with upgraded bolts.

many doing it

and this is where the $ really tell, because you won't get a set of these suckers for under about $1500. so we're back to square 1 ie yes it's better but how much/is it worth it.

my trust "front extension" split dumps or whatever they are called...

were under $1000 (not inclu postage) which isnt that much ontop... had it not been for a certiain moron not sending my parts as i asked i'd have not even needed to pay Import duties, which makes them very reasonable for the price and what you are getting.

Here is a pic of em... very farken nice

they look good nismoid. couple of questions:

1 where from?

2 how much all up?

3 does the front pipe section have a flex pipe?

4 how big is the merged pipe? 3 inch, 3.5 inch?

Thanks mate.

thats not my pic lol, i stole it :)

mine are still in customs.

From nengun $950 approx, not inclu delivery as i got a lot of other things at the same time.. so probably just break the $1000

no flex

Where the two come together asfter the splits... i think its 3"

but im just gonna not be using that i dont think... going a twin system from the dumps

Yep, good point the Nengun option is always worth considering.

I thought the trust pipes had no flex but i've seen photos of something similar, like those posted by Ronin, that has a flex joint. are they copies or have trust changed the design?
