Ceffy Center Console Substitute

ok fellas...this is for those who hate the ceffy center console or if you're like me and simply didnt have a lid on yours then look at the pics below...i did this in around 20 minutes and i think it looks/feels a lot better

first a look at the finished product

cut off the long bits that's not gonna fit anywhere on the ceffy (the red circle is what it should looks like after cut)

drill holes in the console pocket to line up with the holes in the blue cirle so you can screw it down, i should point out that some r33 consoles have deeper pockets, which are better, so see what you can find at the wrecker (try and get one with good handbrake boot)

take out the cut holder pocket so you can feel where the screw is going into and then that's it...all done and so modern

oh and i forgot to add, if you get the one with the deeper pocket then you dont need to do the following...

if you're like me and got one with a shallow pocket then you'll need to trim the bottom of the back of the console, where it sits on the transmission tunnel, i did mine with a knife, and then tried it again on a mate's car with soldering iron...use the soldering iron to melt it, it's much neater

i dont like the original cos mine didnt even have the lid..so i thought i'd rice it up a bit

mr eps...the whole center console thing came out of an r33...just neater and more modern looking check it out next time we have a nsw ceffy meet up

hahaha...that's cool nissaner...rice is cool especially when i throw it at the wannabes out on the road but i really wish i got the deeper pocket one so i can put all my spice girls cds in it instead of just one
