ok i have a old ass pintara wagon its jus a padock bomb nothin spectacular but the poor old motor is on the way out. i was thinkin of puttin in a ca18det or sr20det wat r the odds of one of these bolting rite on (tryin to do it as cheep as possible).

Sorry dude, but the pintara is a bit of a shopping trolley, and my honest opinion is that you should save your cash for a better baseline product. Having said that, the old pintaras run the CA20 right? So the swap to a CA18 shouldn't be too much trouble.

Neither should be too much trouble. Check the R31 Skyline Club website. It has tech articles on this kinda stuff.

Also has members who have put different engines in R31 pintaras and Skylines.

wagon crap would be a bit of a hassle to use.. sedan more parts can be adapted from the s13's.. fatz seems to be the master in that area, so go read some of his ramblings on the 31club site.
