Raising My Skyline

Hi guys,

I am just wondering what parts or labour i need to do, to raise my whole skyline 40mm higher so i can get over some bumps up here in wonderful Far North Queensland

Any help will be appreciated

I assume your car is superlow...if thats the case then just get some standard height springs to replace. You haven't given us much info to go on dude.

Is it lowered already or standard ride height?

It is standard ride height. But being way up Queensland our roads are really crap

on average the standard ride height is 145mm i want it to be about 155-160mm

The roads here on the Central Coast aren't very good either, but they must be shocking up there if you want to raise a car from standard ride height.

Sorry mate but the best advice I can give you is to buy a different vehicle. You own a sports car. They are meant to be low.

to raise a skyline 40mm from standard height would just look stupid...sorry dude no offence..i'm sure everyone on here would agree....

40mm is quite a bit, you may require longer driveshafts to avoid camber problems.

I would go for a 10-15mm increase in spring and shock lenghth and higher profile tyres.

just make sure you put on rally mud flaps

man they cant be that bad mine sits 80mm off the ground and im in north qld...

but yeah i think ull find handling will suck and body roll wont be to pretty

no worries guys... i just tested it , after being shit scared of bottoming out, it has plenty of clearance.. :lol:
