Hey there, yes they are still for sale.

This is a needle valve style boost controller and not a ball & spring boost controller so spiking is very rare. I've never seen one spike more than .5psi

For a cheaper alternative from using a electrnoic boost controller this would be great!

Those recommended retail prices i mentioned are in NZ dollars by the way.
