As long as its somewhere between the throttlebody and the turbo outlet, it will work anywhere along that path.

Of course they do suggest it works best, closest to the throttlebody, however i don't think there would be a huge difference.

yep stock spot in gtr. i replaced the stock with 2 hks ssq's with no problems

yeah it will work fine in that spot. my mate has one on his r34. its a ssqv and he has around 290kwaw, all i can say is, its f---ing loud as!!!
