the de cams are less agressive interms of duration, so you would be stepping backwards in performance.

I thought they had a longer duration and more overlap - as is standard in NA cars (more power later in the rev range), whereas the stadart turbo camshaft was more about bringing power in earlier (less overlap).

Not only that, but I read (wish I could remember where) that this WAS the case - eg, cefiro cams.

could someone please supply some more information? specifically duration, as overlap can be dialled in with a set of adjustable cam gears.

compared to the r32 rb20det the ceffie rb20det DID have longer duration cams on the intake side but the exhaust was the same iirc.....
