Gday all,

I have been having dramas with my clutch so me and my mate decided to replace the clutch fluid to try and fix the situation.

He got under the car, hooked up a clear hose to see any bubbles while I pumped the clutch pedal. Eventually all the old fluid came out and was replaced with the new fluid which we were replacing into the resvoir at the same time as we didnt wanna let it run dry.

When we thought we had it right, I pushed the clutch pedal in (it stayed in by itself) and he tightened the bleed nut. We pumped the pedal again and absolutely nothing happened. The pedal didnt push back under the hydraulic pressure and just stayed in.

We are now thinking we might have accidently let it bleed dry and have stuffed it. Any ideas???

Thanks in advance.

Never mind. Problem fixed. Bled from the nut next to the resevoir. Runs perfectly. ;)

dont stress.

its a pain.

youhave to do it in 3 stages.

1.open the bleader on the master cylinder and bleed that

2.open the bleeder niple in the big loop thing under the car.(square block that the clutch hose goes on to.)

and bleed it.

3.bleed the slave cylinder.

you should have a good pedal. but dont let the clutch pedel fly up on the up stroke.

yeah pain in the arse i did the same thing it takes a while to get peddle pressure as it takes longer to build as you have to push down crack, tighten, then pull up again will take you like 30 min if your lucky before it will feel good
