on one side of my car i can hear the intercooler piping rattling i think it is the intercooler piping anyway.. its only when taking off (i have a xeedy heavy duty ceramic button clutch) n if the car jolts a bit i can hear it rattling real loud...

best way to fix this? as i didnt install the cooling it was on there when i got it...

or should just take to a mechanic n say fix this f**king rattling noise..

You know take a look and see if the intercooler pipes leading into the and out of the engine bay has any metal touching the chassie or one another.That includes hoseclamps.

I have a feling that all it needs is a thin peice of rubber strip arround the area cable tied to the affected pipes that should do the trick.

I get the same problem and i think it's a hoseclamp.

i used an old tshirt, tore it up and raped a small layer around the piping that comes through the engine bay under the washer bottle and cable tied the tshirt around the pipe. worked fine, hasnt rattled since. mine used to rattle when i would start the car
