Rota DPT's look nice!, what size tyre?

I was thinking about rota boosts in 18x9 +27, will i have any fitment issues without coilovers? S.2 automatic

Should be be pretty flush with the guards as its within 3mm of a R34 GTR rim, what size tyres are people running with R34 GTR rims?

cheers

darren

Thanks mate, I'm happy with them... I'm running 235/40 so there is a bit of stretch. I Could have gone 245 but there isn't really much room to play with as the rear is quite low.

You should be right with those specs, The rear will be close to flush but fronts as u know are 25mm narrower - I've previously run a 9 +38 with a 245/45 which was too close to the strut...with the factory struts I think u have less clearance so maybe go a 245/40

My S1 with TE37s (33 GTR offset: 17x9 +30) using 20mm spacers to make the front the same as the rears, Tyres Contisport 3 255 40 17. I will be going a tad lower still but tyres will tuck in as I have adjustable camber arms front and rear (mainly for my slicks but I won't bother putting them back to stock during the summer).

sorry i should have put varrstoen 2.2 wheels so u know which ones they are. they look like then ROTA Grid wheels

Our Nissans are 66.1 centre bore. Unless you get some Nissan specific rims most aftermarket items have a centre bore of 73.1mm.

You can get plastic locating rings but better to get metal ones like this:

+15 will stick out somewhat - you'll have to deal to your guards (see the pic above #342 of my car with +30 - ---+15 will stick out half an inch more and my gaurds have been pushed out about 20 mm

Found some cheap GTR fittment wheels. 18x9 +15. Am I correct in thinking they will fit my rs4s? Need an answer ASAP please!! Cheers guys.

A +15 will look good - you may need to slightly roll the rear guards (depending how low u are) but since it's a manual you should ave more room to play with.

What wheels are they anyway?

post-81631-0-58801500-1321071878_thumb.jpg Yeah I just did a heap of reading through here and found a white rs4s running 18x9.5 +15 with 8mm slip on spacers for the rear to gain strut clearance on page 11 and it looks perfect. The wheels I'm lookin at are only 9" so that gives me 7mm more clearance inside and out. Shouldn't need to run a spacer and don't want to! I'm still at stock ride height (much to my dismay!) haha. I believe they're a Lenso D1r... Edited by BMX666

So you got the varrstoen's then? I've been keeping an eye on everything Stage on here for a while now hahaha. I'll find out if i got mine tomorrow.... Just need to drive to Sydney (about 600k's) to get them, then put tyres on them! Looking forward to the pics tho...

They should look good on the stag, looks like they have a bit of dish too!! If you coming to sydney to get tyres check out Tempe tyres, they are usually cheap and have stock of most tyres (I have no affiliation with them btw) :)

Nah I'll get tyres locally down here. Just have to drive up to pick up the rims. Going to be a big day if I get them!! I know Tempe and I know they're good. Although I've been stuff around by them in the past when getting wheels for my 5L VQ Statesman. Probably wasn't all their fault as I was in a rush and they kept saying they're coming they're coming for about 3 weeks. Ended up getting the same wheels in a different color, cheaper and in about 3 days from somewhere else. Although they had the sane bank account so I guess they still got my cash in the end. Haha. 7 day wheel and tyre or something like that. I'd give Tempe another go if I wasn't in a rush tho. Not dissing them at all.

i didnt get the varrstoen wheels. i got some Koya Endless wheels custom made to my offset choice they are the blackwheels with chrome inserts.they arent bad,not really as jap spec as id like, but meh $1800 for the wheels and tyres is not a bad price.
