Of course, but most cars and drivers can get away with a shitty cast rim, depending on the design. But our cars are 2T high performance wagon with (sometimes) crazy people behind the wheel. :P

That said, my set of 17 inch drifteks have taken 5 or 6 track days without cracking or damage, even running sticky race rubber. I made sure I didn't hit any ripple strips though...

Ok Scotty, I'm with you.. Honestly, for the next 3 yrs or so, this car is just daily, street only. I'l probably get the newer model then when they are compliance approved.
Also, I don't have a pare $2-3K to spend on wheels so, honestly speaking, I just want it to look sweet and ride nice.

on your previous point about front wheels and offset, can you please be blunt for me... what should the offset be on front compared to rear for wheels to fit inside the guards?

jebus, really, all round?...well that opens up a whole lot of dish options, that makes me kinda happy.

yeah im used to skylines when anything under 25 = mexican.

what is standard rs4s specs?.....sorry being lazy,

it seems they are 17X7.5 +40...... are you sure 18x9.5x12 wouldnt stick out?

sorry im not the best with offsets on the fly.....ok , being lazy again...checked a calculator, +15mm on a 9.5 means the inner clearence will stay the same and the outer will extend out by 50mm...your right, thanks for the help

I'm pretty sure the stock wheels are only 7 wide.

18x9.5 +12 fit perfect on my rs4s at standard height. With some low and a touch of camber they'd fit even better. I was going to upload a pic but I can't on my phone.

The fronts would need a massive spacer 30 0dd mm

And the back for that mater on a rs4s , on my old auto cradle I ran a 9 +14 but a manual cradle is 25mm per side shorter
