Painted Engines

Just wondering but does anyone here have a dressed up engine bay or have painted their engine? Whenever you read an Import magazine every car has a painted engine and I recon it looks very nice. Never really thought of doing it before but I am currently going through a turbo/engine rebuild so I decided since its already in pieces why not paint it. Anyway I was just wondering it anyone here has painted there engine and if they have a pic or two?

You've got to use special high temperature spray paint but you can do it yourself if you're keen. You'll need to remove whatever component you want to spray. Never done it myself, but that is about what i know

Thanx … I got mine professionally sprayed and I believe the whole engine is back together. I might be seeing it on Monday. I was more interested in seeing pictures of those who have already painted their engine!
