Rb25 Wastegate Actuator Feed Tap

Hey everyone,

I have a R34 RB25 turbo that I am going to install into my R32 GTS rb20 motor.

The rb20 turbo has a line tapped right into the compressor housing to signal the wastegate actuator to open up at a predetermined psi.

The Rb25 turbo does not have that tapped into the housing.

My question is with a Die and Tap kit I have can I tap a line into the compressor housing ? I know that the RB20 turbo has it tapped so I dont see a problem with tapping it into the rb25 turbo unless someone has a better idea. ? The setup besides the Rb25 turbo is pretty much stock.

Any ideas or opinions ?

There is a spot up on the back of the plenum chamber (next to the brake booster hose) where you can fit an adapter to feed the wastegate.

with the r34 the outlet is on the elbow if u are going to tap do it on the pice after the turbo
